Looped
Logline: Jake Thompson is an average teen stuck in an ordinary time loop. After a wild night of partying leads him into a drunken confession, he’s snapped back to a reality that he’s avoided for so long. With the consequences of his actions now mattering, Jake must navigate his senior year in high school while balancing his school, romantic, and family life.
As my first screenplay, Looped isn't perfect. It's raw and personal. I owe a lot of it to the revisions of Nika Forouzannia and Nicole Salmons, who improved it greatly.
Main Character Syndrome
Logline: Lured to an extravagant acting gig on the promise of a big payout, an unsuccessful actor becomes involved in a Truman Show-ing of another man. A well-paying gig becomes a nightmare after his job grows to a close, and he realizes his character isn’t the only one getting killed off.
Main Character Syndrome is still a first draft and has a lot of ways to go. That being said, I'm proud of it because I believe it's a remarkable improvement in writing quality over my first screenplay. I am currently undergoing a rewrite courtesy of Nika Forouzannia.
