VIDEO EDITING

I work in both narrative filmmaking and advertising. Check out all of my work here!

The Agency at UF Spring '25 Recruitment | Client Work
Spring 2025
Role: Editor

Out to Lunch | Short Film
Fall 2024
Role: Co-writer & Editor
This was by far the longest short film I had ever worked on. At 12 minutes long, this project used hundreds of hours of footage, of which I only had a few weeks to scrub through to create the final project. It was lots of fun because it was extremely flexible but also challenging in that same regard.
Out to Lunch taught me a lot about narrative film editing, and through a combination of skills I've learned throughout my life and those from my video editing capstone course, I created a film I'm proud of.
Disney Sizzle Reel | Client Work
Winter 2024
Role: Editor
Throughout the fall semester, I worked with Disney to create a series of motion graphics for an internal event. Attended by hundreds, the event was a huge hit internally. I was tasked to create a two-minute recap of the event, which I did entirely in After Effects.
This was a challenging process, and I ended up going through four different iterations of the video. Since the client's vision for the project changed over time, I was able to reiterate time and time again which led to a result that I believe is my strongest work yet in After Effects.
Conduent Sizzle Reel | Client Work
Summer 2024
Role: Editor
During the summer, I worked to craft an end-of-year celebration video for Conduent, a business services provider with over 31,000 employees. The video went out to every employee and stockholder to promote the success of the company.
This project was challenging and fun. I was given very little instruction and basically got to run wild with what I wanted to create. It taught me a lot about motion design, and after eleven different versions, impressed the client.
Orange & Blue Film Festival Trailer | Personal Project
Spring 2024
Role: Editor
As the head of film procurement for the Orange & Blue Film Festival, I was responsible for the film selection. After every film was announced for the festival, I decided to make a video promoting it.
This is by far my favorite creative effort. It took me only a day to get through the bulk of the editing, which came after finding a music track I loved. This played before the festival to a crowd of hundreds and reached thousands on social media.
Gators Unidos Jumbotron | Client Work
Fall 2023
Role: Editor
For my first major project, I was tasked to create a video that would promote the upcoming merch line for Gators Unidos, a Hispanic nonprofit for Hispanic Heritage Month.
I worked with a large team to conceptualize the video and spent almost a hundred hours iterating and reiterating in order to tell a story through footage the production department had worked on.
The video eventually played for a sold-out stadium during the 2023 Florida v. Tennessee football game (a great one!), to a crowd of over 90,000 people. The ad had an ROI of tens of thousands.
Gators Unidos Jumbotron | Client Work
Spring 2024
Role: Editor
After the success of the first Jumbotron video, Gators Unidos wanted to create a second ad to promote their upcoming Women's History Month line.
On this video, I was tasked with replicating some of what made the first video so exciting, while also bringing a mill chill approach. We worked with several Latina athletes around the school to make a video that felt authentic to Latin women.
The video played during a women's gymnastics game to a crowd of thousands.
MaXXXine Review | Personal Project
Summer 2024
Role: Creator
This is an example of one of a dozen reviews I did for a film review channel. Over the summer, I began turning my movie critique into a more visual medium.
For these reviews, I wanted to bring my personality to the forefront, something which I don't typically do because I'm not a good actor and my client work focuses on others.

Groundhog Date | Short Film
Spring 2024
Role: Writer, Director, and Editor
For a film production class, I was tasked with creating a short film. I wrote and directed this film, which I spent months working on.
Working with a crew of my fellow students, we created a project that I found rather funny. It was a solid endeavor and taught me a lot about short filmmaking since it was the first short I had made since I began college.
Younify Reel | Client Work
Summer 2023
Role: Editor
For my first-ever piece of client work, I was tasked with creating an app store explanation for an app called Younify. The client took me through nearly 20 revisions for the video until we landed on one that we liked. This was created entirely in After Effects.
Favorite Films of 2022 | Personal Project
Winter 2022
Role: Editor
Since I watch one movie every day, I wanted to express my film rankings through a video. This is perhaps the simplest showcase of my video editing skills. It's a simple thing and showcases my love for movies.
